BLOCinterface is an event inspired by an interest in the power of technology to deliver new experiences - what happens when people are lured away from the isolation of a computer monitor?

Using computer and mobile technology to navigate a physical space, BLOCinterface will provide an enhanced experience of Temple Bar. A participant generated installation will provide a platform for people to share their experience with others and to view the content that they have created on the trail in an open public arena.

BLOCinterface is a multimedia event created by six MSc. Multimedia students from DCU. It will take place in Temple Bar on Thursday 18th August 2005. The evening will be an experimental new media event consisting of two parts; an information trail of Temple Bar followed by a visual display on Curved Street.
